California teacher admits to illegal sexual conduct with students

For some teachers, the best way to reach students is to get close to those students. There are some instances in which a teacher getting close to students might go a little too far. In those cases, the teacher might make the students feel uncomfortable, which might lead to the students seeking advice from another adult. One teacher in California has admitted to molesting two boys in her class. She also admits to sexting the boys.

The 28-year-old female teacher was arrested on charges stemming from those incidents with the two teens. She has been placed on administrative leave from Nicolas Junior High School in Fullerton, where she has worked for six years.

The students made the allegations of the illegal sexual conduct to the school counselor. The 8th-grade teacher allegedly sent the boys nude photos of herself. School officials, along with law enforcement officers, are trying to determine if any other children were affected. The Superintendent says the school will pursue termination.

The teacher has been charged with child annoyance, dissemination of a harmful matter to a minor, and child molestation. She was booked and then released on a $100,000 bail. Her arraignment is set for April 9.

This teacher allegedly confessed to the accusations against her. It is important for her to understand the charges she is facing and the potential consequences so she can offer an adequate defense against the charges. Seeking the advice of an experienced California criminal defense attorney might help her to learn what she needs to know before she goes to her arraignment hearing.
